Cairo, May 28, 2023 – Korra Energi, a leading company in the fields of contracting, energy efficiency, industrial trading, and utilities, has been honored with the the “Best Comfort Project of the Year 2022” award from Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & IT Cooling Systems for its achievements in the healthcare sector in Egypt, as well as for increasing Mitsubishi Electric’s sales volume in Egypt. This recognition was received during the International Exhibition for Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Insulation, Heating, and Energy.
Engineer Ayman Korra, Chairman of the Board of Korra Energi, expressed his happiness at receiving this award, stating, “We are proud to receive the Mitsubishi Electric 2022 award, especially since we have been Mitsubishi Electric’s agent in Egypt for almost a year and a half. We have proven our leadership in energy efficiency and contracting solutions and have successfully driven change in the central air conditioning industry in Egypt through various projects we have undertaken.”
Mohammed Medhat, Executive Director of the Sustainable Green Energy & Industrial trading Business Units, added, “We have managed to exceed our sales volume in the cooling industry by nearly 15,000 tons of cooling during the past year and a half. We have also expanded into sectors such as healthcare and hospitals, supplying Mitsubishi Electric chillers that operate on electricity to several large new hospitals in Egypt.”
During ASHRAE exhibition, Korra Energi showcased one of its internal and external data server room units for the central IT cooling technology system, which is characterized by advanced modern technologies serving the IT cooling sector.
It is worth mentioning that Korra Energi has over 25 years of experience in energy efficiency, supported by a large team of talented and qualified professionals who execute projects according to the highest international standards. By providing the latest and most suitable solutions, the company has achieved the longest operating hours, reaching 125,000 hours. Korra Energi has also supplied and operated the largest number of chillers and cooling towers, totalling over 600 units with 227,625 tons of cooling.
