As it is the first of its kind to be applied in Egypt for the cement industry

Korra Energi has taken charge of the ‘Design & Build’ of the first ‘Waste Heat Recovery for Power Generation’ (WHRPG) project for Cement Industry in Egypt where wasted heat generated from the Pre-Heater and Air Quenching Coolers of the Two Production Lines will be recovered and converted into Electrical Power (20 Megawatts) saving around 30% of the factories electrical dependency, improving facility’s energy efficiency and Carbon Footprin
