Responsibilities and Duties

• Participate in studying Tender packaging for (HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing …etc.)
• Able to prepare Tender packaging for design and built projects.
• Able to prepare the technical value engineering proposals.
• Participate in reviewing project's contracts.
• Coordinate and collaborate with different trades to fulfill the pricing process
• properly.
• Attend tender briefings, conferences, post tender award meetings and training
• events as required, ensuring the relevant information is summarized and fed
• back effectively.
• Negotiations with suppliers on both technical and commercial aspects of
• product.
• Prepare Cost Breakdown Structure including “material, equipment,
• transportation, lifting, labor and any other needed items” by doing internal
• calculation sheets for all Mechanical trades.
• Modify & consolidate the final tender documents technical & commercial offers
• per the tender instructions.
• Request feedback where tenders are unsuccessful and ensure this information is
• used to inform future tender submissions.
• Conduct complete analysis of actuals cost in comparison with the estimated
• budget for the project for both Cost & schedule of activities.
• Maintain confidentiality always, in accordance with the agreed policy.

Required Competencies and Behavior

• BSC. Mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 1 - 4 years' experience as Tendering Estimation Engineer.
• Technical/engineering Electro/mechanical background.
• Manage differences, Teamwork effectiveness.
• Negotiation & communication skills.
• Excellent MS-Office capabilities.
• Good user for AutoCAD.
• Very good command of English language.
