Early this year we have celebrated Korra Energi’s Flare Gas Recovery project at Hurgada that produces both electricity & Natural Gas Liquids (of 1MMSCFD for 2MWE electrical power & 11 TPD NGL) for having it chosen as the 'highly commended' (second best) Environmental project of the year in Egypt, Africa & The Mediterranean countries by regional select jury at EGYPS 2020
And we couldn’t be happier to end the year while celebrating another flare gas recovery project that is currently being executed.
The new Flare Gas Recovery project scope includes the Design and Build of a (7.0 MMSFD – Flare Gas Recovery Plant) to recover: more than 100,000 barrels of LPG + 3,500 barrels of Condensate (C5+) and more than 1,400 Million SCF of Hydrogen Gas per year, based on EPC Contract. Turnkey Scope includes: Gas Process Engineering of the complete plant (based on Mechanical Refrigeration, Propane-based, System for Low-Temperature Separation) – Supply, Install, Test and Commissioning of all Gas Processing Equipment Packages).
As more projects unfold, and as we continue to care for the environment, we will continue paving a cleaner future by utilizing our engineering capabilities and solutions in mega projects.
